Welcome

In 2017, the Lord gave me one word—a promise: Freedom. At that time, I was anything but free. I was bound by my past and afraid of what the future might hold. My emotions were a daily roller coaster that left me physically and mentally immobilized. I lived in constant survival mode. But I clung to that promise with everything I had. Through scripture, praise, the support of my community, and clinical practices, I began to walk out the very things I once prayed for—things I was once too fearful and bound to believe could ever be mine. My journey later connected me to resources like grief counseling in Hartford, Connecticut, which deepened my understanding of how healing can manifest in various forms.

With the guidance of a wonderful mentor, I opened Freedom Counseling Mental Health and Wellness Services, LLC in January 2025. My mission is to help women experience the same hope, healing, and restoration that transformed my life.

MY APPROACH

Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. Together, we’ll explore your past and present experiences, set meaningful goals, and develop tools to manage stressors like trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, and low self-esteem.

I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Grief therapy and counseling
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Mindfulness and somatic practices

If faith is important to you, I am glad to integrate prayer, Scripture, and biblical truth into our work together. If not, we will stay focused on the approaches that best serve your needs and goals.
